We know this is a difficult time for you, so we are here to help. We can make all the arrangements for you, including same day pickup service from any location, preparing your pet for their journey to the Bridge, scheduling a complimentary Sprinkling Ceremony to celebrate your pet's life, and we can even help you pick out the perfect memorial keepsakes from our unique selection of locally crafted items.

Just follow our simple steps.

Step 2: Choose a water cremation package

Don't worry, you can change your mind later or we can tailor a package for you.

Step 3: Choose a Visitation or Viewing package

This is not required, but many families find visitations or viewings very helpful in their grieving process, especially for children.

Quiet Moment - $75

Families have a brief, private opportunity to spend 15 minutes with their pet in our Sprinkling Suite on the day their pet begins their physical journey to the Bridge. This option does not include a viewing or participation in the water cremation process. Families are simply able to see, touch, and be with their pet for a short time in our Sprinkling Suite to say their final goodbyes, and then depart. The pet's journey will occur afterward with care, dignity, and love provided by the Cholla Afterlife Care Team.

This option is ideal for families who want a moment of closure but do not wish to remain present for a viewing. Families wishing to remain present for the cremation process or to participate in placement or preparation may wish to consider one of our Farewell Viewings.

Step 4: Choose extra keepsakes

Often these small details are the ones that matter most. Don't worry, you can add or remove any of these later.

Small potted plant watered with your pet’s Afterlife Water $35

0.5 liters of Afterlife Water (to be used as fertilizer) $15

Step 5: Transportation

We offer gentle, respectful options for transferring your beloved companion into our care 24/7 every day of the year. Pricing reflects staffing, after-hours support, and holiday availability.

We are always happy to provide a clear quote before services are arranged. Please call or text anytime for support.

Step 6: Sprinkling

Whether you choose to bring your pet to Cholla Afterlife or you request to have our Care Team pick up your pet at home, you will have the opportunity to sprinkle your pet with dried herbs and flowers that will stay with them throughout their journey. They will be dried and returned to you as part of your pet's remains. Since they are the last thing you touched before saying goodbye to your pet, we feel it's as if a piece of you will be with them forever.

Relax and get ready for your appointment and complimentary Sprinkling with Cholla Afterlife.

One way that we support grieving families is by having you participate in a complimentary Sprinkling of your pet. This is available to families who bring their deceased pet in person to Cholla Afterlife and to families that choose to have the Cholla Afterlife Care Team pick up their pet at home.

Additional urns and unique keepsakes are available for purchase in Our Shop

Step 7: Honoring Your Pet Through Old Souls Animal Rescue

There are so many ways to honor and remember your pet, like planting a tree, painting a rock, or hanging their collar in your garden. Another way to honor your pet while making a difference in our community is to make a monthly donation to a local animal rescue in your pet's name.

Here at Cholla Afterlife, we are proud to support Old Souls Animal Rescue and Retirement Home, a 501c3 nonprofit organization (EIN 27-2806988) located on five acres of beautiful Sonoran Desert in Picture Rocks, Arizona, just northwest of Tucson. Old Souls takes in homeless geriatric, special needs, and hospice animals, primarily from Pima Animal Care Center, and provides them with veterinary care, a soft bed, pain management, nutritious food, and everything they need to enjoy their last chapter of life.

Old Souls is not open to the public due to the fragile conditions of many of the animals, but volunteers and donors are welcome by appointment. Community members are also welcome to spread their pets' remains around the perimeter of Old Souls (where Cholla Afterlife also spreads our communal remains) for a monetary donation.

You can make a tax deductible donation to Old Souls at any time at www.givebutter.com/oldsoulsfeelgoodfund. Be sure to click the “In Memory Of” or "In Honor Of" button.
